Wanna know a secret? Sometimes I eat peanut butter and jelly straight up out of the jars [no bread intended].
But what exactly goes into this concoction? It took me the longest time to figure out their secret recipe. Which in fact, isn't so secret after all. I pretended I was a spy, always trying to peak over the counter to see what ingredients were needed. After days of doing this (yes, I would have one of these smoothies every day) the woman behind the counter pointed to a little yellow brochure that listed everything offered in the cafe and what ingredients were needed to make it. Perfect. What wasn't listed was the quantity of the ingredients. Ever since I started to make this on my own I pretty much eyeball how much of everything is needed.
Things you need:
- 1 banana (can be frozen or... or unfrozen)
- Maybe like 6-8 strawberries
- Unsweetened vanilla almond milk or soy milk, it's your preference.
- 2 tablespoons (?) or 3(?) of strawberry banana flaxseed oil
- 1/2 of 1 small package of strawberry banana soy yogurt
- 1 or 2 tablespoons of peanut butter (makes it taste SO good) naturally, this can be omitted
How to make Flax Seed Oil: Just kidding, you won't need to make it on your own. If you wanted to you could though. It's easy.

There's literally one step. Put all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Like a smoothie. Pour into a cup and drink it all up. Hah.
There you have it, a delicious smoothie that is completely healthy and actually vegan. Even if you're not a vegan I guarantee you'll like this if you just try it. If not, well then don't make it anymore!
